Rates reminders

Council issue rates reminders via email and SMS.

Contact us to discuss payment plan options.

Property owners are reminded that rates are due by 16 October 2024 and to act now to take advantage of the discount period.

Ratepayers have until due date to pay their rates in full to receive the 10 per cent discount on their rates and charges.

Council would also like to remind ratepayers of the variety of payment options available, including:

Paying by instalments – options to pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly
Online: via Self Service Portal on Council’s website or using BPAY
Mail: cheques or money order made payable to Gladstone Regional Council
In Person: at Council Offices or Australia Post
Direct debit: Monthly and lump sum options (please contact Council to arrange)
Deductions: Deductions from your Centrelink payment. Contact Centrelink and quote Council’s Centrepay reference number 555076313K. Payroll deductions may be offered by your employer. Contact your employer for further details.

To avoid interest charges please submit an application to pay rates by instalment in writing to info@gladstone.qld.gov.au.
