Get involved in Youth Week activities these school holidays
Queensland Youth Week is taking place next month with Gladstone Regional Council hosting several events to keep our young people entertained.
Youth Week is an initiative aimed at young people aged 12 to 25 years old and celebrates their positive contributions to Queensland communities.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said Youth Week events will be held throughout the second week of the Easter school holidays.
“Youth Week events will run from Monday 8 April through to Friday 12 April at locations right across the region including Gladstone, Agnes Water, Calliope and Mount Larcom,” Councillor Burnett said.
“Events are being delivered by a co-design group including Council together with its Youth Council, Headspace, Roseberry Queensland and PCYC.
“Skateboard workshops will be held by Jay and Zane Hetherington from Agnes Water Skateboard Coaching.”
