Half-yearly Water Consumption Notices have been issued

Gladstone Regional Council is advising residents that half-yearly water consumption notices have been issued.

Water Consumption Notices will have an issue date of 16 February 2024 with payment due on or before Wednesday, 20 March 2024.

Consumption charges will cover the period of water usage from June/July 2023 through to November/December 2023.

Meter reading information, including previous and current reads, will be further detailed on the Water Consumption Notice.

This year, Council is encouraging ratepayers with an amount owing in the current financial year to apply to Council to set up an approved instalment payment plan.

Various payment options can be found on council’s webpage www.gladstone.qld.gov.au/rates-payment-options or via Council’s Online Services portal.

Registered online users can view their digital notices online and ahead of time.

Residents who have recently had advanced water meter infrastructure installed are encouraged to monitor their usage via the My Water portal.

The My Water portal offers near real-time water usage data to registered users and can be a very handy tool to monitor and lower water usage.
