Applications are now open for RADF 2023 – Round 2 funding
Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for Gladstone Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) 2023 Round 2.
RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said the EOI period is open until midnight on Sunday 13 August.
“Applications must be for projects commencing after 8 October 2023,” Councillor Burnett said.
“Projects are expected to be short-term and fall into one or more of the six categories.”
Categories include:
- Developing Regional Skills
- Building Community Cultural Capacity
- Regional Partnerships
- Cultural Tourism
- Concept Development
- Contemporary Collections/Stories.
Projects that received funding in last year’s corresponding round included:
- Cafeterias of Gladstone 1900-1970
- Calliope River Village Festival
- Carnival of Arts
- Spring in the Vale – workshops
- Miriam Vale State School – 125 years on.
ROUND INFORMATION
Expressions of Interest – open until midnight, Sunday 13 August
Applications – can be submitted up until midnight, Sunday 10 September
Assessment of Applications – Wednesday 20 September.
