Update on removal of Tom Jeffery Memorial Park bridge at Agnes Water
The bridge at Tom Jeffery Memorial Park, Agnes Water was fully removed from site on Wednesday 24 August and will be repaired locally within the Gladstone Region.
The park has remained closed to allow site rehabilitation work and improvement to the amenities, with these works expected to be completed by today (Friday 26 August).
Once the park reopens, temporary fencing will be removed and the alternate public beach access point reinstated, allowing for pedestrian access through to Agnes Water Main Beach.
Repair and reinstallation of the Tom Jeffery Memorial Park bridge is priority work for Council, and we will provide updates as work progresses.
Visit www.gladstone.qld.gov.au/public-notices-outages#parks for updates and project information.
