Council search requests can now be lodged and paid online
Customers can now enjoy the convenience of lodging and paying for their property and business-related search requests online via Council’s website.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said moving online makes this process more efficient as search requests can now be processed from anywhere and at any time.
“The new search request process will enable access to up-to-date information and allow customers the ability to track progress on their request in real time,” Councillor Burnett said.
“If customers are already signed up for online services, they will be able use their existing details to lodge and pay for their searches, while new customers will need to register to gain access.
“With increased demand, improving the search request process means Council can continue to provide timely service to our customers.”
The improved search request process is just one of many services customers have access to online, with animal registrations and updates, permit applications and licence applications also available.
Cr Burnett said if customers prefer to lodge and pay for their searches in person or by telephone, they can still do so by attending a Council office or calling (07) 4970 0700.
