Response Hub to be established at Lowmead Community Hall
Gladstone Regional Council will set up a Response Hub at Lowmead Community Hall on Monday 6 November from 1pm to 4pm.
The Response Hub will allow bushfire affected residents to access our Community Partnerships and Resilience team members, who will be joined by representatives from social service agencies including:
- Aussie Helpers
- Department of Communities
- Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES)
- Queensland Reconstruction Authority
- The Salvation Army
- Uniting Care.
To help coordinate recovery efforts, Council has partnered with GIVIT with a Queensland Bushfire Appeal set up.
GIVIT manage all offers of goods and services, if you wish to donate, please pledge your offer directly to GIVIT.

Response Hub – Lowmead bushfires
WHERE: Lowmead Community Hall (Lowmead Road)
WHEN: Monday 6 November, 1pm to 4pm
Flexi Skip Bins/bags for fire affected waste will be available for collection for disposal of residential household waste.
While the fire is currently contained, it is not extinguished in areas. Residents should continue to follow the advice of QFES.
