Update on reinstatement of Tom Jeffery Memorial Park bridge
Gladstone Regional Council will soon progress work towards reinstating the beach access bridge at Tom Jeffery Memorial Park in Agnes Water.
On-site work will commence from Monday 10 July and will be undertaken by Miriam Vale Plant Hire. This delay is due to the availability of the specialised piling sub-contractor required to complete this work.
The repaired bridge is scheduled to be reinstated and back in use during September 2023, site conditions and weather permitting.
Council will continue to maintain temporary pedestrian access from Tom Jeffery Memorial Park to Agnes Water main beach via NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park.
