Nominate a young person to attend 2022 Mayor’s Youth Breakfast
Nominations are now open for the 2022 Mayor’s Youth Breakfast.
Community members are being asked to identify and recognise the special efforts, achievements and contributions of our region’s younger residents who are aged between 12 and 25 years.
The nominees will receive an invitation to the Mayor’s Youth Breakfast set to be held on Friday 1 April at Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett is encouraging people to nominate someone who they feel is worthy ahead of the cut-off on Sunday 13 March.
“The Mayor’s Youth Breakfast is a fantastic event that shines a light on our young people to highlight their hard work and dedication towards the Gladstone Region,” Councillor Burnett said.
“Young people may be acknowledged for accomplishments including sporting, cultural, employment or academic achievements, or for their involvement in volunteering, mentoring or fundraising.”
Nomination forms can be found on Council’s Conversations website (conversations.gladstone.qld.gov.au/mayors-youth-breakfast).
If you need assistance filling in a nomination form please contact the Gladstone Community and Neighbourhood Centre at Philip Street Communities & Families Precinct (1 Pengelly St, West Gladstone), or phone 4976 6300.
