Operating hours to change at some of Council’s waste facilities
Changes to operating hours at three of Gladstone Regional Council’s waste facilities will come into effect in the coming weeks.
Benaraby Landfill (Bruce Highway) and Gladstone Waste Transfer Station (Joe Joseph Drive) will have a slight change to operating hours, effective from today (15 March).
Both facilities will operate from 7.30am-5pm Monday to Sunday, previous hours were 7am-5.30pm Monday to Sunday.
Weekend hours will change at Agnes Water Waste Transfer Station (233 Captain Cook Drive), with operating hours changing to 8am-noon and 1pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday only, effective from 1 April 2021.
These hours are currently 8am-4pm on weekends.
Weekday operating hours at Agnes Water Waste Transfer Station will remain 8am-noon.
Operating hours at Council’s other waste facilities – Calliope Transfer Station, Mt Larcom Transfer Station, Yarwun Transfer Station, Nagoorin Transfer Station, Bororen Transfer Station, Baffle Creek Transfer Station, Rosedale Transfer Station and Turkey Beach Transfer Station – will remain unchanged.
