Location

The event start/finish precinct will be at The Grand Hotel Many Peaks, located on Gladstone Monto Road, 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Gladstone. Parking for the event will be along the main road. Please be mindful of private properties in the area and only park in public spaces.

Course Description

The Full 50k
Starting at the Grand Hotel Many Peaks, complete a full out and back lap to Barrimoon siding, covering the most scenic parts of the rail trail, including the tunnels. An 8 hour cut-off applies to this length.

The 23k Uphill
Starting at the Grand Hotel Many Peaks, follow the rail trail up to the tunnels and finish at Barrimoon siding. Shuttle buses will then transfer you back to Many Peaks. A 4 hour cut-off applies to this length.

The 23k Downhill
Leave the Grand Hotel Many Peaks via shuttle bus for the half-hour ride up to Barrimoon siding. Start at the tunnels for a leisurely run back down the rail trail to the Hotel. A 4 hour cut-off applies to this length.

The 12k Taster
Leave the Grand Hotel Many Peaks and follow the rail trail 6k to a turn-around and head back to where you started. A 2.5 hour cut-off applies to this length.
