Youth Week FAQ’s
Why are all ages not included?
The Queensland Government defines Queensland Youth Week as being a week to recognise young people aged 12-25. The events planned for Youth Week cater to this age group. Youth under the age of 12 are welcome to attend all the available events, however parental supervision is required at all times.
Do I need to pre-register for my child?
There may be some availability on the day for last minute registrations, however we strongly encourage those wanting to attend to make use of the registration system in advance. Event organisers cannot guarantee spots will be free otherwise.
Will the skateboard workshops be open to youth aged under 12?
Yes – However, with parental supervision. It is encouraged to register your attendance in advance to avoid disappointment or alternatively, registrations can be completed on the day if spaces are still available.
Will lunch be provided at all events?
No - Youth attending the pool days and skateboard workshops will be provided with snacks and water only.
