Do you need help lodging your tax return? If you earn $60,000 a year or less and need a hand, the ATO’s Tax Help program is for you! Bookings essential.
Created to help eligible residents submit their tax return this year, this service, facilitated by the Australian Tax Office (ATO), is run by trained tax help volunteers.
They can assist you face-to-face, online, or by phone, with appointments available on Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 3pm.
Appointments are available until 31 October, 2024
Residents wishing to use the service are encouraged to create a myGov account and link to the ATO at www.ato.gov.au before their Tax Help appointment.
Eligibility criteria for the program can also be found on the ATO website.
