COVID forces Benaraby Landfill shop to close this weekend
The Benaraby Landfill Tip Shop will be closed this weekend due to the COVID-19 virus impacting staff availability.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said Council understood its tip shops were very popular, so customers are encouraged to use the Gladstone site as an alternative.
Cr Burnett said the closure applied to this weekend only and Council would advise if further closures to waste services would be required.
