Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy residents encouraged to conserve water due to power issue at Agnes Water Treatment Plant
Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy residents are being encouraged to conserve water over the coming days as recent storms have caused a power supply issue at the Agnes Water Treatment Plant.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said Council is focused on repairing this damage as soon as practically possible and are exploring options to do so.
“Council has sourced generators capable of powering the facility and damage assessments are underway,” Councillor Burnett said.
Council is encouraging residents to reduce water consumption during this time as we work through this priority issue.
