Living Here
National Reconciliation Week - In this together
There are many public art displays across our region that you can enjoy this National Reconciliation Week.
Outside the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum you can see the Totem Pole works by artist Patricia Coleman (Bailai/Byellee) & Gooreng Gooreng artists, Masud Ghungarie Sanders assisted by William Hollingsworth, Elijah Warde & Kalloom Johnson.
Each pillar represents the Totems of the Port Curtis Coral Coast First Nation Peoples and the hands represent connection of our Community.
You can also view the ‘Because of her, we can!’ collaborative community sculpture, created for NAIDOC Week 2018, funded by the Bailai Aboriginal Corporation & Katrina Elliott.
