Tannum Sands – Canoe Point, Lilley’s Beach and Wild Cattle Inlet- Wednesday, 5 February to Friday, 7 February 2025.
Agnes Water - coastal reserves along Springs Road and Captain Cook Drive
- Monday, 10 February to Thursday, 13 February 2025.
These areas will be closed during this period and will be clearly identified by warning signs placed at all entrances.
- Lilley's Beach will be closed
- Canoe Point Beach will remain open - trapping will be in the bushland areas adjacent to it.
- The walking/cycling track south of the Wild Cattle boat ramp will be closed.
Please pay heed to signage and restrain pets on leash during the control period.
If your pet becomes trapped, please call Brent Tangey, Senior Natural Environment Officer on 0407 138 768 for assistance to release the pet.
Please be aware, that you may occasionally hear a firearm being safely discharged as part of the targeted control activities.
