The pest activities to be carried out across KTNP is to reduce the degradation on habitat and maximise the chances of long-term recovery of populations of identified threatened species endemic to the area and associated vegetation groups. This includes the Kroombit Tops Tinkerfrog, Kroombit Tops Tree Frog, Silver headed Antechinus and Monteiths spiny crayfish.

The control activities include a focus on the of public  safety and visitor experiance within  KTNP.
