New Councillor group declared by Electoral Commission of Queensland

The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) has declared the results of the Local Government Election for the Gladstone Regional Council area.

This follows the 2024 local government elections that were held on Saturday 16 March and included elections for Mayors and Councillors in each of Queensland's 77 councils.

ECQ has declared the following Mayoral candidate:

Matt Burnett.

And the following Councillor candidates:

Natalia Muszkat
Glenn Churchill
Karen Davis
Kahn Goodluck
Mellissa Holzheimer
Michelle Wagner
Leanne Patrick
Simon McClintock.

The Declaration of Office for the Mayor and each of the councillors will be officiated by Chief Executive Officer Leisa Dowling in a virtual ceremony on Thursday 28 March 2024 with an in-person Declaration of Office ceremony to take place on Tuesday 2 April at Council Chambers.
