Reconnect with the outdoors at Parks Week events across the region
Gladstone Regional Council will celebrate Parks Week from 1-9 March with four events to be held across the region to entice the community to spend more time in the great outdoors.
Parks Week begins on Friday 1 March at Alf Larson Park in Miriam Vale with a Moonlight Movies screening of Wonder, a family-friendly movie starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson.
Moonlight Movies then moves to Calliope on Friday 8 March with a screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie starring Chris Pratt to be played at Bunting Park.
Both Moonlight Movies begin at 7pm with popcorn and fairy floss on sale. If yoga is more your pace, or something you’d like to try for the first time, then head to ANZAC Park in Gladstone on Saturday 2 March or Air Sea Rescue Park at Seventeen Seventy on Saturday 9 March.
Both yoga events begin at 7am with the Gladstone event hosted by IMMY and the Seventeen Seventy event hosted by Breathe 1770.
Bookings are not required for any of the 2024 Parks Week events. Visit Council’s website for more information.
