Council seeking feedback on Agnes Water Skate Park designs
Gladstone Regional Council has commenced Phase 2 of community engagement and is seeking feedback on a series of designs for the potential redesign/upgrade of the Agnes Water Skate Park.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said the designs are based on the preferences the community expressed regarding the functionality of the skate park during Phase 1 of the project in April 2022.
“Council has been working with skate park consultants, Convic, who have presented a series of designs ranging from beginner to intermediate level, up to advanced level inclusions, with bowls, ramps and street runs,” Councillor Burnett said.
“We are now excited to share these designs with the community and would love to hear what their favourite design inclusions are.”
Residents can have their say online via Conversations until Friday, 19 August 2022.
Residents are also invited to register to attend a Community Information Session from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday 9 August at the Discovery Christian College (2873 Round Hill Road), where Convic will be on hand to present the designs and to answer design-specific questions.
Another opportunity to share feedback will be at a Drop-in Session being held from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesday 10 August at the Agnes Water Skate Park (located on Springs Road).
