Tickets to Legally Blonde The Musical go on sale from tomorrow
A box office smash that spawned a sequel, spin-off and Broadway production will take on a local flavour in 2021 as CQ Today presents a GRC production of Legally Blonde The Musical.
Legally Blonde The Musical is based off 2001 film Legally Blonde, which follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) will host five performances, running from 25-27 February and 5-6 March.
Tickets to the family-friendly production go on sale from 9am tomorrow (Friday, 4 December) via the GECC website or by phoning the Box Office on 4972 2822.
Gladstone Region Councillor Darryl Branthwaite said Legally Blonde The Musical continues a proud tradition of community and combined-schools musicals held at GECC.
“We’ve seen some awesome community and school-based musicals produced in recent years including Shrek (2018), Anything Goes (2019) and The Wizard of Oz (2020), with all three productions receiving rave reviews from their audiences,” Councillor Branthwaite said.
“Jeannine Butler is back as director after overseeing Anything Goes last year, and she’ll be joined by 40 talented locals who make up the community cast.
“For those who have seen Legally Blonde on the big screen, your favourite dogs Bruiser and Rufus will also make an appearance on stage.
“Legally Blonde The Musical is action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances so grab your tickets now before they sell out.”
Tickets to Legally Blonde The Musical start from $20 each with a full list of pricing available online.
