Tickets go on sale today for Air Beats concert featuring Sheppard
Tickets to Air Beats, an exciting open-air concert proudly presented by Gladstone Regional Council, go on sale from 9am today with concert goers urged to book quickly to avoid disappointment.
Air Beats will feature ARIA Award winners Sheppard, who recently rocked the Gabba as the halftime entertainment at the 2020 AFL Grand Final.
Sheppard will be joined by a host of local and Queensland-based acts including Hayley Marsten, Chris Bax Trio, Jason O’Hara, Nathan Bedford, Jack & Jacinta, Smiley n Wayno Duo, Thomo and Wal Duo and Chris Schofield.
Tickets to the all-ages event, being held across two nights on 20-21 November at Gladstone’s Blain Park, go on sale from 9am today (30 October) so visit www.gladstoneentertainment.com to secure your very own beat box.
Air Beats will provide specially designed beat boxes for social groups or families up to five people, providing an exclusive party space all while being socially distant from other concert attendees.
Both nights will run from 6pm-11pm with prices starting from $110 per beat box, up to $200 per beat box depending on location.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said gates at Blain Park will open from 5pm on both nights with DJ Sophie Durbidge playing on the Red Bull DJ Deck prior to the opening set.
“Sophie has performed at many events across the country and she’ll no doubt keep the crowd entertained right from the very first click of the turnstiles,” Councillor Burnett said.
“Triple M CQ’s Pinky, from the Banksy & Pinky breakfast show, will MC both nights to keep Air Beats attendees entertained in between sets.
“A fully licensed bar and mobile food vendors will be onsite for the event with EFTPOS and cash facilities available.
“Air Beats is a fantastic concept and I expect beat boxes will sell quickly so make sure to visit www.gladstoneentertainment.com from 9am today to secure your place at this unique and exciting event.”
No tickets will be available to purchase at the event.
Concert goers are asked not to attend if they have returned from overseas or a COVID-19 hotspot, have cold or flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health emergency, conditions surrounding this event are subject to change.
