Rotary Markets return this Sunday
Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) is pleased to approve the return of the Rotary Club of Gladstone Midday markets at Tondoon Botanic Gardens this Sunday, 21 June.
The Rotary Markets will be the first outdoor markets to be held since the COVID-19 health emergency was declared in early March, causing the closure of crowded community activities.
From 7am to 12pm, residents will be able to enjoy some fresh air in the Gardens’ setting while wandering around the market stalls located in Car Park 3.
The Markets Committee believes this area will ensure better social distancing for stall holders and community members that attend.
Everyone is encouraged to observe signage related to government requirements around COVID19 involving personal hygiene, social distancing and to stay home if you are feeling unwell.
There will be limited parking inside the Gardens while SES volunteers will monitor traffic and parking externally.
