Your chance to meet a New York Times bestselling author
Gladstone City Library is offering people a chance to rub shoulders with a New York Times bestselling author when Heather Morris visits the Port City on Thursday 25 November.
Heather Morris is the author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, a novel told from the perspective of Lale Sokolov, detailing his journey as a prisoner of Auschwitz concentration camp during the Second World War.
Gladstone Region Councillor Desley O’Grady said the New Zealand-born author will visit Gladstone as part of her tour to share her latest book Three Sisters.
“Gladstone City Library will be the place to be between 6pm-7.30pm on Thursday 25 November as Heather talks about her books and opens up to the audience for a question and answer time,” Councillor O’Grady said.
“An author visit is a great way to connect with a book and hear directly from them on how they wrote the story, where their inspiration came from, the amount of research involved and more.
“This event will include a light supper, so please contact the Gladstone City Library on 4976 6400, email library@gladstone.qld.gov.au or visit the friendly team in person to RSVP.”
