Help us map the strengths, gifts, talents and resources of our community
Gladstone Regional Council in collaboration with the Jeder Institute are excited to invite individuals and organisations from across the Gladstone Region to the Mapping our Community Workshop.
Gladstone Region Councillor Matt Burnett said the Mapping our Community Workshop, to be held on Tuesday 6 July, is designed to create an opportunity for the community to identify, discover and connect with each other through the identification of community strengths and untapped personal and physical assets.
“Collectively, workshop participants will collaborate to map the skills, talents, abilities and passions of individuals and discover the strengths, networks, and resources of communities and organisations throughout the Gladstone Region,” Councillor Burnett said.
“The workshop is open to anyone from individuals, members of the community and organisations, and will cover key steps to asset mapping from identifying assets and strengths through to mobilising them for action.
“By understanding our community’s strengths, networks and resources we can continue to create strong, inclusive and sustainable communities.”
