New Year’s Eve is sorted at Gladstone Regional Council’s FREE NYE Party
It’s time to circle Sunday 31 December on your calendar as Gladstone Regional Council’s free New Year’s Eve Party returns for an unmissable night of fun and entertainment for the whole family.
Join us at Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) Marina Parklands from 5pm to midnight as we bid farewell to 2023 with a night of entertainment, fantastic food and beverage options including licensed bar, plus fireworks down by the water.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett is encouraging everyone to bring their friends and family for what will be an enjoyable and fun-filled evening led by cover band Beccy & The Jets.
“Beccy has performed alongside some of Australia’s top talents including Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss, The Veronicas and The Potbelleez,” Councillor Burnett said.
“She will bring an ensemble with her to perform songs from the likes of Whitney Houston to Radiohead and everything in between.
“Beccy & The Jets will also be supported by local musicians throughout the night including Mackenzie May, Jacinta Bradley, John Eade, Callan Reah and Kahn Goodluck.”
Cr Burnett added that attendees can also pack a picnic or purchase food from a large selection of vendors.
“Support our local suppliers by purchasing food and drinks from onsite food trucks,” he said.
“And don’t miss out on the family-friendly fireworks show at 8pm and main display at midnight.”
