On behalf of the existing committee members, I would like to thank the Gladstone Region for supporting our iconic festival for over 20+ years. The unexpected passing of our beloved Vice President, family losses, personal changes, new businesses and travel within the current committee, has forced us to make the decision of not running our festival this year and to also resign from our positions.

We have been a small but mighty team, providing new experiences at the festival, attracting new performances and always ensuring we have an array of mouth watering food for our region to enjoy for the past four years. Volunteering is something our team of five have always been passionate about and it breaks our hearts that we don't have the capacity to keep going.

With that being said, we have decided to advertise for the following positions and to hand over to an entirely new committee. The three positions that must be filled to form a new committee are:-

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

Unfortunately if we don't receive any nominations by the 1st of September, we will have to close down GMAI.
