Southend Conservation Park will be closed to the public between the above dates. Access will still be available along the main road and along the beach below the high water mark.
These activities are conducted to reduce impacts on turtle nests from predation by feral animals. QPWS will be installing a number of warning signs within the area informing residents and visitors that traps and Firearms will be used along the beach and other areas within Southend Conservation Park.
