The program is required to reduce the risk of feral deer colliding with traffic on Dawson Highway, Don Young Drive and Red Rover Road and the impacts to the biodiversity values of the Byellee wetlands.

Trained professionals contracted by Council will conduct measures to manage the increasing feral deer population.
