The 1770 Art Show serves to grow the cultural and creative footprint of the Agnes Water/1770 region by holding the 1770 Art Show & Quilting Exhibition annually. Our objective is to support and develop creative endeavour, bringing together all community members to celebrate art.

Our mission is to showcase visual art from emerging and established artists; uniting our audience to explore, experience, and be inspired.

A key partnership, beginning in 2014 with local and regional schools, the School Arts Project, supports teachers and students with materials and ideas to participate in a significant regional art event.

The 1770 Art Show, held annually for 4 days, runs concurrently with the 1770 Festival, thereby amplifying visitors' appreciation of all that the Agnes Water/1770 community has to offer.

The opening night of  The 1770 Art Show & Quilting Exhibition is a much anticipated cultural event.
