Safe Haven AACE is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the natural environment and in the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, ill and orphaned native wildlife.  There is always something in care.  Safe Haven also provides excellence in the captive breeding programs of the Southern Hairy Nosed Wombat for the preservation of this species with the outlook to assisting our very own Northern Hairy Nosed Wombats.  You may be lucky enough to even spot a baby wombat or two.  In addition Safe Haven has developed a Koala Critical Care Clinic to assist our local koalas with treatment rehabilitation and release.

Education is a big part of AACE's goals with the organisation continuing to offer a range of educational courses and opportunities in relation to wildlife conservation. Research incorporates genetics, stress physiology, metabolism and growth, reproduction and assisted breeding technologies. Discovery science that creates new knowledge will be balanced with the application of science for wildlife breeding and conservation.
