Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said Festival of Summer is designed for 11-to-17-year-olds and will run from Monday 13 January to Friday 17 January 2025.
“Festival of Summer is the hottest ticket in town for young people during the school holidays,” Councillor Burnett said.
“The event aims to entertain and provide activities and workshops for all interests at low-cost prices.
“And with Christmas fast approaching, a ticket to one of the many Festival of Summer events would be a fantastic addition underneath the tree.”
Festival of Summer 2025 events include:
- Lady Musgrave Island Day Tour and Lunch
- Fast Karts
- The Ultimate Circus Experience
- Aerial Silks and Trapeze
- The Art of Being a ‘Lady’
- Clay and Paint Workshop (spread across two sessions)
- Learn to Surf and LARC! plus lunch
- Hair, Makeup and Photoshoot Workshop
- 1770 Yoga, Art Session
- Basic Makeup Workshop
- Learn to Skate (multiple sessions)
- Video and Content Creation Workshop (13-17 years only)
- PilaTEENS.
