Gladstone Ports Corporation’s Marina Parklands will light up in red, white, and green as we celebrate the festive season under the stars with carols, community spirit and fireworks proudly presented by Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL).

Festivities begin at 4pm with the Merry Markets, followed by live entertainment from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. The evening will conclude with the lighting of the region’s Christmas tree, which will be live streamed on stage.

Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said the Santos GLNG Mayor’s Carols will feature heartwarming performances, a visit from Santa and community spirit to bring everyone together.

“Watch the amazing talent of our local schools and community groups come to life on stage to launch the holiday season," said Councillor Burnett.

“I’m excited to announce that special guest performer Suellen Cusack will feature on the night and will have everyone singing along.

“We’re also thrilled to welcome back award-winning First Nations musician Marcus Corowa, who will mentor a First Nations choir for a special performance.”
