The GECC will rock you with a huge month of entertainment in April
April is set to be a massive month at Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) as a large variety of shows prepare to perform at the state-of-the-art venue.
There will be performances to suit everyone's taste, from tributes to Queen and Creedence, Fleetwood Mac, a magic show and plenty in between.
It all begins on Monday 8 April with Spellbound A Night of Magic and Grand Illusion featuring one of Australia's leading illusionists, Anthony Street.
Robertson Brothers 60's Variety TV Show returns to GECC with their brand new show on 9 April with Geoff and Ben Robertson paying tribute to the musical giants of the 1960s including The Beach Boys, The Monkees, Johnny Farnham, The Bee Gees, The Seekers and much more.
The internationally acclaimed Australian Fleetwood Mac Show Running In The Shadows is heading to the GECC to pay homage to the superstar band on Friday 12 April.
Australian music sensation Brad Cox follows two nights later with his solo tour Yarns and Yodels on Sunday 14 April.
Friday 19 April will see Bohemian Rhapsody perform. This Queen tribute is led by Thomas Crane, who not only looks like Freddie Mercury but also sounds and moves like the rock legend.
Saturday 20 April will feature Creedence Clearwater Collective, a six-piece band featuring a vocalist who sounds just like John Fogerty.
