Community consultation open for parcel of land at Mount Larcom

Gladstone Regional Council is undertaking a month-long community consultation for the Draft Land Management Plan to allow the Mount Larcom Show Society to lease Lot 1 SP 183256.

Council is Trustee for Lot 1 SP 183256 – 52 Popenia Road, Mount Larcom.

Mount Larcom & District Show Society Inc. currently leases Lot 12 DS 233 and has requested to lease Lot 1 SP 183256 to allow for an expansion of its facilities.

Council has submitted a draft Land Management Plan to the Department of Resources and has received in principle support for that plan.

The next step in the process is to hear from the community.

The consultation period will close at 5pm on Friday, 22 December 2023.
