Pre-sale commences at 10am on Wednesday 8 November, ending at 10am on Wednesday 15 November. General ticket sales will commence following the pre-sale period.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be performed from 6-17 March 2024 at Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC).

Eight shows will be performed, split between public shows and school shows, with 74 students from 18 schools participating.

Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett anticipates the 2024 Combined Schools Musical will continue the long-standing tradition of successful, entertaining and well attended school musicals.

“Recently, we have seen thousands attend Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2022), The Wizard of Oz (2020) and Shrek (2018), so I expect Disney’s The Little Mermaid to be just as popular,” Councillor Burnett said.

“Our talented students and experienced creative team started rehearsals at the beginning of September and this followed an audition process that saw 167 people attend across two days in July.

“There will be 74 cast members with eight lead roles, nine minor roles and all your favourite childhood songs to sing along to.”

2024 marks the 13th Combined Schools Musical since the 1999 debut of Pirates of Panzance.
