Competition attracts more than 9000 votes

Three eager amateur photographers have been crowned as winners of Council’s inaugural Easter in Gladstone Photography Competition.

‘Last sunset of Easter’ by Matt Cann (Over 18s), ‘Gladstone Harbour’ by Cooper Price (Under 18s) and ‘Auckland Creek’ by Chris Laporta (Visitor to the Region) won their individual categories.

Each winner received a $250 gift voucher, a certificate signed by Mayor Matt Burnett and one lucky winner will have their photo on a billboard ahead of Easter in Gladstone 2024.

Thank you to everyone who submitted entries into the Easter in Gladstone Photography Competition – we received 190 fantastic entries and received more than 9000 votes!
