Council inviting Expressions of Interest to use former Girl Guides building
Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from parties interested in leasing or entering into a licence agreement to use the former Girl Guides building at 100 Aerodrome Road, Clinton.
The EOI period will run for four weeks from Tuesday, 11 April until Tuesday, 9 May.
An on-site walkthrough and question and answer session will be held on Thursday 20 April from 10am-11am.
The building has an open floor plan, polished timber floor and features an on-site storage building.
The purpose of the EOI is to receive proposals from interested parties for assessment against certain criteria.
Expressions of interest should include a cover letter and proposal based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrate ability to provide a service or purpose that will benefit the community
- Ability to maintain the facility and lease grounds
- Ability to pay agreed rental costs and outgoings - negotiable
- Availability/timeliness to occupy building and commence the intended service.
