Sounds @ The Village to bring the good vibes to Good Friday in Gladstone
Sounds @ The Village is set to bring good vibes to Good Friday and Easter in Gladstone celebrations with tickets to the youth musical festival now on sale.
An exclusive event for young people aged 13-17 years, Sounds @ The Village is a harbourside music festival featuring headline act Shag Rock, who will be supported by Alivan Blu and several local acts including DYZZL, Hazel & Jed, Mackenzie May and SAMMY MIT.
Gladstone Region Acting Mayor Kahn Goodluck said Sounds @ The Village is targeted at the next generation of festival goers and helps to plug a gap in the Easter in Gladstone (6-10 April) event calendar.
“Sounds @ The Village will be held within the B2G Village as part of celebrations centred around the iconic Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race,” Councillor Goodluck said.
“Easter in Gladstone events – coupled with the Gladstone Harbour Festival – are catered for adults, children and families, but with the introduction of Sounds @ The Village we are able to offer an exclusive event for high schoolers.
“The Village is also the perfect ‘Instagrammable’ location, which I’m sure will appeal to many, while parents can rest assured their children will be within a safe, fun and inclusive environment.”

Each General Admission ticket holder receives unlimited soft drink access to the Kombi Keg.

Shag Rock
Born in the depths of the high school band room, Brisbane’s Shag Rock have managed – through sheer determination, skill and plenty of shenanigans – to sell out multiple national and international tours and amass over 40 million streams worldwide.
Since the release of their debut full-length album Barefoot (2017), the indie surf-poppers have toured the USA, embarked on multiple sold-out headline tours locally and in New Zealand, and toured with the likes of Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale and The Rubens. With over 16 million streams alone on their single Sunbleached Girl they’ve collected a passionately loyal fan-base.
