Vast array of activities on offer during Council’s School Holiday Program
Gladstone Regional Council’s School Holiday Program is back and ready to beat summer holiday boredom with a wide variety of activities available across several venues.
Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM), Tondoon Botanic Gardens and Gladstone Regional Libraries will host activities and events throughout the duration of the School Holiday Program.
The program will run from Friday, 9 December 2022 until Sunday, 22 January 2023 with a brief break from 23 December until 2 January.
Many events are free although bookings are essential. Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett encouraged parents and children to plan ahead and book early to avoid disappointment.
“Council’s School Holiday Program is always popular with many ‘fan favourite’ activities booking out quickly, so I’d encourage parents and their kids to visit Council’s website to see what’s on offer,” Councillor Burnett said.
“The School Holiday Program allows school kids to explore the region one day and create a masterpiece or unleash their imagination in play the next.”
