Plenty of family fun at Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens this Sunday
There will be plenty of family fun at Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens this Sunday (16 June) with a Fun Activity Morning held in conjunction with the Rotary Charity Markets.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said the free Fun Activity Morning would offer four hours of outdoor activities, tailored to the region’s young residents.
“Gladstone Regional Council is pleased to organise this event which is always extremely popular attracting thousands of youngsters and their families and carers,” Councillor Burnett said.
The event from 8.30am-12.30pm will offer children’s rides, giant slides, jumping castles and much more.
“Residents can gather up family and friends, pack a picnic blanket and head to the Arboretum Area at our nationally recognised Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens,” Cr Burnett said.
“You won’t be able to miss the action as there’s bound to be lots of children’s laughter echoing through the area.”
Food vendors will be on site with morning tea and lunch items available for purchase.
Visitors to the Gardens will also be able to browse through the Rotary Charity Markets with stalls set up in the grounds.
“Last month when the Fun Activity Morning was held in conjunction with the Rotary Charity Markets we welcomed 3500 people through the gates at Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens,” Cr Burnett said.
