Gladstone Region Public Holiday aligns with Royal Queensland Show
The 2021 Gladstone Region Public Holiday will fall on Monday 9 August.
The public holiday will align with the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka), which is being held from 7-15 August at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
The Queensland Government has a gazetted list of show holiday dates with many Local Government Areas also recognising 9 August as their show holiday date.
Council advises the upcoming Gladstone Show (10 July) and Mt Larcom Show (19-20 June) do not have public holidays associated with them.
