Workman’s Beach camp grounds reopen
As the summer holidays get underway, Gladstone Regional Council is pleased to advise the Workman’s Beach camp grounds at Agnes Water have reopened to the public.
They have been closed to travellers since 26 March this year, when the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in all camping grounds located on Council owned or managed land being shut down.
The decision was made to align with the Queensland Government closing all camp grounds in national parks, state forests and state managed recreation and protected areas.
Workman’s Beach day use area has remained open but now the 38-camp site facility off Springs Road can welcome visitors to enjoy its surroundings.
