Artist Donna Maree Robinson will be conducting a FREE 2-day digital projections workshop at GRAGM to develop new works with local artists for NAIDOC Week projections. 10am-4pm 4-7 July 2024
Would you like to learn how to create animated artworks?
In this workshop participants will learn from Queensland artist Donna Maree Robinson how to use the stop motion app (on mobile phones, iPhones or iPads) to easily create an animated digital artwork based on images they will draw, paint or collage on the day or previous existing work.
Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is offering free places to attend this two-day Animation Workshop, 10.30am-4pm, Thursday 4 and Friday 5 July 2024.
Your animated artwork will then be displayed as part of the NAIDOC week celebrations at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
- Location: Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum
- Cost: FREE
- Bring: An iPhone, mobile phone or iPad with the iMotion/stop motion app installed. Stop Motion is available on any smart phone e.g. Samsung, iMotion can only be used on iPhones or iPad.
Previous artworks and materials to create new work, can be collage materials, drawings and paintings
