Description of service
Medicare Mental Health Centres offer a free, safe, and welcoming service for adults over 18 who are experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed, or concerned about themselves or someone they care about.
Gaining access to lived experience peer workers who can provide specialised, compassionate, and understanding support during challenging times, together with a team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and nurses.
Support is available in person at our site or via telehealth.
No Medicare card is required! Medicare Mental Health Centres provide immediate, short and medium-term care, and connect people to the most appropriate services for ongoing needs.
