Minor civil works will be undertaken followed by installation of five new back-up generators at water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities at Agnes Water.
This project is included in Council’s 2023/24 Capital Works program as a resilience action to keep the facilities running efficiently during power outage or disaster events to supply safe drinking water and wastewater services to the communities of Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy. - Commencing

The civil works at Chinaman’s Beach seawater pump station will include installation of a fence and construction of a new access ramp.
During the construction phase the parking area will be barricaded with temporary fencing for the protection of the public and their vehicles.
Beach access will remain open however visitors to the area are asked to be mindful of works occurring and follow any signs or directions.
In addition to the work at Chinaman’s Beach, concrete slabs will also be constructed at the other above-mentioned sites.
