As part of Council’s 2023/24 Capital Works program, contractors will construct a new, three-tier retaining wall to replace the existing earth retaining wall structure at Apex Park, Gladstone.
Works will include: demolition of existing retaining wall, excavation and civil works, install of sandstone retaining walls, install of concrete sleeper retaining walls, drainage works, upgrade of existing toilet block
(provisional item), landscaping and remediation work.
Work is planned to start on 13 February, with an expected completion date of 7 July 2024, site conditions and weather permitting.
