Camp Akuna Pikes Crossing Inc is steeped in local history which has been a community based camp ground and hall providing "camping under canvas", predominantly aimed at the local youth and their families of the Gladstone region since 1967.

It has a strong sense of place and encourages connections and experiences for its users with a focus on health, well being, inclusion, family and recreation.

Camp Akuna has strong relationships with the Gladstone Navy Cadets, Gladstone Army Cadets, Gladstone Baptist Church Girls Brigade, Gladstone Bushwalkers, "MACE" Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment, and Girl Guides, all who have enjoyed the facility and continue to support it.

We welcome travelers, families and campers to come and relax and recharge in the quiet open space.
