The Gladstone Model Aero Club had its humble beginnings from a small group of friends who had a passion for model aircraft and would fly from the Mud Flats at QAL in the late 1970's.

This group continued to fly at a number of sites arounds the Gladstone district before forming into a club and settling into our current location at Guerassimoff Road.

The Gladstone Model Aero Club endeavours to foster a friendly atmosphere, tempered with safety guidelines and co-operation at all levels within the club.

The flying of Radio Controlled Model aircraft has come a long way over the last few years. It is now one of the most affordable and diverse sports available to those with an interest in flying models.

This diversity ranges from large scale aircraft, to miniature models that fit into the palm of your hand, Helicopters, to the new drones (Quadcopters), Gas Turbine Jets, and other flying contraptions, essentially something for everyone.

The one thing that has not changed is the enjoyment and the friendship that people receive endearing aspects of flying models at the Gladstone Model Aero Club Inc.
